Is resume2interview free to use?
Yes. Create a free account and sign in to open your private desk. Documents, Study, generation, OneNote import, flash cards, and the rehearsal booth all require sign-in so your case file stays yours.
Why do I have to sign in before using the app?
Sign-in creates your private workspace. Uploads, generated question sets, revision pins, and rehearsal scores are stored under your account—not on a shared public board. Guests can read the landing and FAQ pages; the product unlocks after authentication.
Can I generate interview questions from my resume or notes?
Yes. Upload a resume, study notes, or brief. When the file is Ready, choose Generate for me for an automatic practice set, or get a ChatGPT prompt and import the Markdown back into Study.
Does OneNote work with resume2interview?
Yes. Connect Microsoft, pick notebooks and pages, and import them as Documents. Then choose Generate for me, build an external prompt, or write questions by hand—same Step 2 flow as any other Ready file.
How do Study lessons and flash cards work?
Study shows question cards with a strong answer, traps, and follow-ups. Soft booth scores (under the revision ceiling) queue that topic into flash cards so you drill the weak spot instead of scrolling past it.
What happens in the practice booth?
Pick video, voice-only, or write. Video and voice stay on your device for review; scoring sends audio or text only. You get feedback on accuracy, completeness, and delivery, then can retry or move to the next question.
How is this different from a generic AI interview chatbot?
Questions are grounded in your documents and notes. You study lesson threads with strong answers and traps, revise weak scores with flash cards, and rehearse in a booth that scores your take—not a one-shot chat reply.
Is my interview prep private?
Uploads, handwritten questions, revision pins, and rehearsal scores stay on your signed-in desk. Imports are size-capped and sanitized. The camera is a local presence mirror; video is not uploaded as a product feature.
Can I import a question pack I wrote elsewhere?
Yes. From Study → Import, paste or upload a Markdown / JSON / text pack. It becomes a private Study notebook you can filter, revise, and rehearse—without putting the file into shared storage as a public document.
What should I do first after signing in?
Open Documents, upload a resume or notes (or pull OneNote pages), wait until the file is Ready, then choose Generate for me. After that, walk the set in Study and take one booth rehearsal.
